Terms of service.

img apis is an HTTP API for image metadata, palette extraction, BlurHash placeholders, and on-the-fly transforms (resize, format, blur, mark, grid, background removal). You point it at storage you already control (HTTP URL, Cloudflare R2, AWS S3), and we fetch, process, persist transformed outputs in our Cloudflare R2 cache, and serve them through Cloudflare's edge.

Sign up with your email — we send a one-time passcode, so there's no password to manage or leak. One account can run multiple workspaces (per client, per environment), each with its own billing, sources, origins, and credits.

Invite teammates by email from the dashboard. Admins manage settings and billing; users browse usage. You're responsible for keeping the email inbox of every invited account holder secure.

Subscription plans: Hobby ($9 / 6,000 credits), Starter ($19 / 15,000 credits), Pro ($79 / 70,000 credits), and Scale ($249 / 245,000 credits). Pay per cycle, get a credit allowance, spend it on operations.

The invoice is one line — your plan, full stop. Credits cover transforms; storage (R2 / S3) is yours to bring; delivery is bundled in the monthly plan — no separate bandwidth line on the invoice. The bg-remove option is priced upfront at 5 credits per call, not as an undisclosed multiplier.

An /info call (or any /info shortcut) costs 0.5 credits; /placeholder costs 0.5; /transform costs 1; /grid costs 2 per source image in the composition.

Commit longer for less: 10% off at 3 months. Cache hits, errors, and repeat URLs never bill — credits only deduct on real work.

Your trial is 200 credits over 7 days, no card required. After it ends you pick a plan or the namespace pauses; nothing auto-charges.

Billing runs through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Use img apis for any lawful image work — your own assets, your customers' assets you've licensed, public-domain or properly attributed content.

You cannot:

• Bypass copyright or licensing on content you don't have rights to use.
• Use the service to identify private individuals at scale (we're not a facial-recognition product).
• Circumvent our allowlists, billing, or rate limits.
• Host or serve content that's illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdictions of your callers.

If we spot abuse, we'll pause the workspace and email the account contact. Repeat offenses end the account.

You own your images. We never claim a license to them. We fetch from the source you configure, transform in flight, and cache the transformed output in our Cloudflare R2 + edge cache. We never persist originals on our side.

Cancel any time in the dashboard — the current cycle (1 or 3 months) stops renewing at period end. Credits granted for the current cycle remain usable until period end and don't roll over.

For an early refund on a 3-month commitment, email hello@imgapis.com and we'll prorate the unused months.

We aim for high availability via Cloudflare's edge network but don't currently offer a contractual SLA on Hobby, Starter, or Pro plans. Cache hits, errors, and repeat URLs never cost credits — so degraded performance never costs you money.

img apis is provided "as is." We don't warrant that every image transform will succeed or that cached responses will always be available — caches can evict and edges can fail.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid in the prior 12 months. We're not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. This doesn't waive any consumer-protection rights you have under applicable law.

When we change these terms in a way that affects you, we'll email the account contact at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, cancel — the change won't apply to the cycle you've already paid for.
